The name ILDJARN originally spread through the underground Black Metal scene like a whisper during the early 90's, when this type of music was still considered dangerous and kept within secretive circles.
With the release of the "Ildjarn" full-length debut, this buzz became a roar: raw, primeval and primitively barbaric this album is considered to be one of the highlights in ILDJARN's extensive back catalogue by many adherents.
Now Season of Mist will honour the legacy of ILDJARN by releasing his most important works. Time to rediscover one of the key bands of Norwegian Black Metal.
